A useful Black Friday order starts with the gaps on your shop floor: which categories need replenishing, which displays need a fresh look, and which accessories will complete your customers’ winter outfits.

This guide helps you choose what to stock and when to order, with category recommendations, buying plans for three different shop situations, and a practical checklist to take you from your first November delivery to Black Friday and Christmas.

When is Black Friday 2026, and when should boutiques buy?

Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday 27 November. For boutiques, the best time to buy wholesale stock is the first half of November: early enough for new pieces to arrive, be photographed and go on display, and late enough to base your order on how autumn-winter stock has sold.

Order value (excl. VAT and shipping) Discount
Over €300 €20 off
Over €600 €45 off
Over €1,000 €80 off

For existing customers, the discount applies per order: the higher the order value, the bigger the saving. Because the offer doesn't change during the campaign, there's no need to rush on day one — but popular styles and sizes usually go first, so ordering earlier gives you more choice.

One reminder: the discount is a bonus, not a reason to buy more. If your order is just short of the next tier, it can make sense to add something you need anyway, like scarves that sell well by the till. But don't stretch to reach a tier with stock your customers won't buy.

What are boutiques buying wholesale for Black Friday?

Winter accessories to consider include scarves, hats and gloves.

All three are low-priced and need no sizing, which makes them ideal till add-ons or pairings with coats and knitwear. They are also among the small gifts customers buy most.

How much stock should a boutique buy for Black Friday?

How much you buy shouldn't depend on a discount tier — it should depend on how your shop is selling. In early November, most boutiques are in one of three situations:

Situation 1: autumn-winter stock is selling well, but sizes are running out

First priority: restock. Check which styles have run out of sizes or colours and reorder them. This is the lowest-risk money you can spend, because you already know it sells. Then add a few scarves or small accessories by the till. For ideas, see our FW26 accessories edit.

Orders like this are usually small — a few hundred euros is often enough.

Situation 2: sales are steady, but customers need something new

First priority: refresh your window. Rather than discounting old stock, bring in a small group of new pieces that sell together, and rebuild your display around a festive theme: one or two layers or knits, a few tops for going out, and one bag with real texture. A knit cardigan with a hair-on leather bag, for example, is a ready-made winter look. For styling ideas, see The Mohair Season and our hair-on leather bags styling guide.

Situation 3: autumn-winter stock is nearly gone, and you need to cover the whole festive season

First priority: buy in two rounds, not one. Start with a first round covering the core categories — outerwear, knitwear, bags and accessories. One to two weeks later, restock based on what's selling. That way you can serve the footfall from Black Friday to Christmas without being left with surplus stock in January. For how to keep the total in check, see our guide to building a balanced assortment without overbuying.

Is it risky to buy Black Friday stock early?

Not if you buy in small rounds. Many boutiques wait until the week before Black Friday to restock, worried that buying early means being stuck with stock. But by then popular styles are often sold out in key sizes, and there's no time left to display new arrivals properly. The key to buying early isn't buying more — it's keeping the freedom to adjust:

  • Start small. LEIVIP's minimum order is €100, so your first round can include only the styles you're most confident in.
  • Restock fast. Orders dispatch within 48 hours, so your best sellers can be restocked within a week or two. There's no need to buy everything up front.
  • New styles keep coming. Italian brands add new pieces every week, so your second and third orders can bring in new styles based on how the first round sold, not just repeat the old ones.
  • Splitting orders costs you nothing. For existing customers, the offer is the same throughout the campaign and each order qualifies for its own tier, so ordering in several rounds doesn't mean missing out.

Black Friday checklist for boutiques: four weeks to 27 November

Buying is only the first step. From 2 to 27 November there are exactly four weeks. Here's one way to plan them:

Swipe left or right to see the full table.

When What to do
Week 1 (2–8 November) Review autumn-winter sales and place your first order, prioritising bags, knitwear and outerwear
Week 2 (9–15 November) Display and photograph new arrivals, tease "new in" on social media, and place a second order based on week one
Week 3 (16–22 November) 16 November is the last day of LEIVIP's offer: confirm your final order. Dress your festive window and prepare gift sets
Week 4 (23–27 November) Run your countdown and sell through Black Friday and the weekend

A few tips for your own promotion:

  • New arrivals don't need a discount. Keep fresh styles at full price and reserve discounts for pieces that have been on the rail for a while. Customers come in for the offer and stay for the new pieces.
  • Bundle instead of discounting. Gift sets like "scarf + bag" or "cardigan + scarf" protect your margin better than single-item discounts, and they suit gift shopping.
  • Keep accessories by the till. Low-priced pieces like scarves, hats and small bags are the easiest last-minute add-ons at checkout.
